The fact that we wanted to dive on the Galapagos Islands at least once was clear to us from the outset. So two days ago we went to different diving schools in Puerto Ayora and informed ourselves about the different diving spots.

Isabella – Snorkeling in Los Tuneles (Galapagos Islands)
Today we wanted to see one of the highlights of Isabela – the lava tunnels Los Tuneles. At 8 o’clock we met in front of a diving school, were equipped with wetsuits and we started. In addition to us, there were five other people on board: 2 Germans from Hamburg, 1 Dutchwoman, 1 Englishwoman and 1 Spaniard.

In the morning we visited the Charles Darwin Research Center on the island of Santa Cruz with our guide Sandro, which is located on the outskirts of the city of Puerto Ayora. In the afternoon our journey to the Galapagos Islands then continued to the island of Isabella.

After visiting the island of North Seymour this morning we arrived at the “Bachas Beach” on the north-west coast of Santa Cruz at about 1 p.m.

Today we were picked up by a tour bus in front of our hotel at 7 a.m. The destination of our excursion was the island of North Seymour, which is located north of Santa Cruz.
