The special thing about this zoo is that there are virtually no cage grilles, fences or thick glass panes for the nearly 3200 animals. The animals live in <strong>as natural an environment as possible<\/strong> and borders such as rivers, dense plant growth, rocks or just deep trenches are usually used to separate the enclosures. This gives visitors the feeling of openness and wilderness and thus a very special animal watching feeling in the zoo.<\/p>\n<p>The zoo is divided into the different habitats of the animals. Visitors can experience the savannah of Africa with lions, zebras and rhinos or an Ethiopian valley with monkeys. There are the Australian Outback, Wild Africa, Frozen Tundra, Cat Country, Orangutan Island and also the Primate Kingdom. There is <strong>much to experience,<\/strong>and also to touch. possibility of <strong>breakfast with an Orangutan<\/strong>, which is offered daily from 9 a.m. to 10.30 a.m. The information can be found <a wpel-icon-right\">here<span class=\"wpel-icon wpel-image wpel-icon-3\"><\/span><\/a>. <\/p>\n<p>We have been to so many zoos around the world, but we think the Singapore Zoo is really one <strong>of the best zoos in the world!<\/strong> A visit should not be missed under any circumstances and the entrance fee of $33 Singapore Dollars (approx. 21 Euros) is also justified.<\/p>\n<div id=\"jig2\" It is open every evening from 7.30 pm until midnight. Visitors can walk along the signposted trails through the area, visit the &#8220;Creatures of the Night&#8221; show, or admire other artistic performances such as the Thumbuakar Fire Swallows. The last new attraction was recently opened &#8220;River Safari&#8221;, a zoo that recreates the world of life on various famous rivers such as the Mekong, the Nile, the Amazon and the Mississippi. Starting with our flight to Hong Kong (China), then on to Bangkok (Thailand), to the million metropolis Singapore, then into the jungle to the UNESCO World Heritage Angkor Wat to Siem Riep (Cambodia), on to Kuala Lumpur (Malaysia) and finally to the island of Borneo (Malaysia).
