Arriving at the <a href=\"https:\/\/goo.gl\/maps\/VsoPvXK8wgEitNbo8\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" data-wpel-link=\"external\" class=\"extern matomo_link wpel-icon-right\">Airport in Tawau<span class=\"wpel-icon wpel-image wpel-icon-3\"><\/span><\/a> we were already waiting and we discovered a sign of our hotel right away. The anticipation increased. Together with some other guests we drove first the approx. 80 kilometers bumpy route to the <strong>port of Semporna<\/strong> &#8211; past dozens of palm oil plantations. When we arrived at the port, our luggage (as well as provisions for the hotel) were loaded onto a speedboat. After we had already checked in on land, the journey started &#8211; with the destination: <strong>Kapalai<\/strong>. <\/p>\n<div id=\"jig1\" class=\"justified-image-grid
