If there are any specific questions about the pictures or this travelogue, please post a comment at the end of the post.<\/p>\n<div class=\"zitat\">\nEven though the whole thing is certainly an incredibly special experience, we didn&#8217;t feel good during our visit. <strong>Looking back, we wouldn&#8217;t be visiting this facility anymore!<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Update:<\/strong> At the end of May 2016 the temple was completely closed for tourist traffic! What many visitors did not know: After the stalking of animal cruelty, smuggling of tiger skins and the breeding of tigers for the black market, there was a large raid by the military government. And the finds suggest that the monks are actually involved in a worldwide illegal wildlife trade. All tigers have since been removed from the tiger temple and have now found a new home in the Khao Son Wildlife Center in Ratchaburi.<\/div>\n<div id=\"jig1\" class=\"justified-image-grid Starting with our flight to Hong Kong (China), then on to Bangkok (Thailand), to the million metropolis Singapore, then into the jungle to the UNESCO World Heritage Angkor Wat to Siem Riep (Cambodia), on to Kuala Lumpur (Malaysia) and finally to the island of Borneo (Malaysia).
