our hotel in Nadi <span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>From Beachcomber Island we drove with the Yasawa flyer back to the port of Denarau on the main island Viti Levu and were taken by shuttle bus to our Hotel <a href=\"https:\/\/one-million-places.com\/en\/go\/hotel-tanoa-skylodge\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" data-wpel-link=\"external\" class=\"extern matomo_link wpel-icon-right\">Tanoa Skylodge<span class=\"wpel-icon wpel-image wpel-icon-3\"><\/span><\/a> in Nadi.<\/p>\n<p>We had booked a double room in the Tanoa Skylodge, as we arrived by ferry from the Mamanuca Islands in the evening and were picked up by a bus the next day at 7 o&#8217;clock. It was meant to be a stopover &#8211; it wasn&#8217;t any more. The room was ok, but not very cozy. A few larger insects were also in the room \u2013 disgusting. The bed was super small. In the same hallway as our room there was also a laundry room and there the washing machines ran until night \u2013 incredibly loud and annoying. We definitely wouldn&#8217;t stay there any more.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"bus-ride-with-the-coral-sun-express\"><\/span>Bus ride with the Coral Sun Express<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>In the morning we were picked up at 7.30 am by a bus of the Coral Sun Express in our Hotel Tanoa Skylodge to go to the Coral Coast to Sigatoka, where we wanted to spend the next three days. <\/p>\n<p><iframe src=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/maps\/embed?pb=!1m28!1m12!1m3!1d400319.9518177537!2d177.46492592379533!3d-18.013676445752374!2m3!1f0!2f0!3f0!3m2!1i1024!2i768!4f13.1!4m13!3e0!4m5!1s0x6e175bf031f7830b%3A0x6f62ee78a278b8a9!2sTanoa%20Skylodge%2C%20Nadi%2C%20Fidschi!3m2!1d-17.7678782!2d177.4407565!4m5!1s0x6e1a0783082e6f45%3A0x497f5bd5cc64452d!2sBedarra%20Beach%20Inn%2C%20Sunset%20Strip%2C%20Korotogo%2C%20Fidschi!3m2!1d-18.179043999999998!2d177.548321!5e1!3m2!1sde!2sde!4v1579007115462!5m2!1sde!2sde\" width=\"600\" height=\"450\" frameborder=\"0\" style=\"border:0;\" allowfullscreen=\"\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>The bus transfer from Nadi to the Coral Coast was booked a few days earlier online via the website of <a href=\"http:\/\/www.touristtransportfiji.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" data-wpel-link=\"external\" class=\"extern matomo_link wpel-icon-right\">Tourist Transport Fiji<span class=\"wpel-icon wpel-image wpel-icon-3\"><\/span><\/a> for FJ&#8217; 30.00 (i.e. a good 6.50 \u20ac per person). Our room was very spacious with king bed and separate seating area. Everything was very clean. We had views of the lagoon and the garden. All the staff were super friendly and immediately helped if you had a question. The prices of the restaurant are ok. A continental breakfast was included in the price. It was not a buffet, but was served. Delicious! The pool is not large, but it is completely sufficient. The lagoon is only partially suitable for snorkeling due to the tides. Snorkeling equipment, reef shoes and kayaks can be rented free of charge. There is no beautiful beach. We just wanted to relax for three days and the hotel is very suitable for that. For shopping we took the local bus to the nearest bigger town of Sigatoka in one day. Since Saturday was, there was a local market that was quite interesting and some nice shops.
