There was no wind, so we went to the pool every 15 minutes to somehow endure it in the heat. In between, a nautical question time took place directly on the pool deck, i.e. everyone could get rid of their questions to our captain Falk Bleckert, who then answered them. There were some really exciting questions, such as:<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; What has been his biggest challenge at sea so far?<br \/>\n&#8211; For how many weeks is the fuel sufficient?<br \/>\n&#8211; How does water treatment work on the ship?<br \/>\n&#8211; At what distance can you see an obstacle on the water (e.g. a small fishing boat)?<br \/>\n&#8211; What skills must a captain have?<\/p>\n<div The AIDA crew had come up with something very nice here: a farewell cake with the dates of the trip. After that we went to the pool deck for the big Farewell party. On the ships of the AIDA fleet, guests are not only duly welcomed, but also duly farewelled. All the officers, including our captain, did not miss the time to come back to the pool deck on this last evening and toast all guests with a glass of sparkling wine. Since it is still a good 8 hours, we had thought about whether we would make a small detour to a beach, which is close to the airport. Our transfer agency Dominicanplus has suggested that they take us directly from the ship to Playa Blanca, store our luggage in the meantime and then pick up again in the evening to take us to the airport. <strong>Playa Blanca<\/strong> is a public beach where you can use the loungers and chairs free of charge.
