After we had parked our car in the free hotel garage, we were able to check in immediately and move into our room. We would almost call it a suite, because there was a living room with a small kitchen, a dressing room and a large bathroom and bedroom <strong>with a breathtaking view of the Bellagio Fountains and the Strip.<\/strong> We stood on the balcony for a while to take a close look at everything. Many of the hotels are adventure hotels whose exterior and interior design follow a central theme: be it the &#8220;Hotel Paris&#8221; with its Copy of the Eiffel Tower, the &#8220;Bellagio&#8221; with its large water fountains dancing to the music, the &#8220;Caesars Palace&#8221; in ancient Roman design, the pyramid hotel &#8220;Luxor&#8221; in front of which a sphinx watches, the &#8220;Venetian&#8221; reminiscent of Venice or the &#8220;Mirage&#8221; with its eruption. There is something to look at, discover and marvel at every few meters. <\/p>\n<p>Of course, we couldn&#8217;t resist trying one or the other casino and trying our luck. Be it roulette or the one-armed bandits. Unfortunately, not every city that has a Starbucks store with an own mug. But if the city has an own mug we like to collect them as a souvenir. We only collect city mugs from the \"Global Icon Series\", which was released in 2008. We started with a short stopover in the megacity Chicago. From there we continued by plane to Los Angeles and from there by rental car via Las Vegas, Zion National Park, Bryce Canyon, Salt Lake City and Yellowstone National Park to Denver. For the last leg of our trip we went to the East Coast, where we visited New York, Philadelphia and Washington D.C.
