We had already done 2 dives on the southern part of Ningaloo Reef in Coral Bay. Since we wanted to dive the Ningaloo Reef again in another place, we booked another 2 dives at the Exmouth Diving Center for today.

Exmouth is a small town with about 2,200 inhabitants, which lives mainly from tourism to the Cape Range National Park and the Ningaloo Reef. The “mascot” of the town is a big red shrimp. Directly next to our hotel is a still used area of the U.S. Naval Radio Station, whose transmission towers are among the highest in the world.

We were already looking forward to today, because we have booked a tour where you can swim with whale sharks on Ningaloo Reef.

In order to take full advantage of the day, we started again quite early today in Coral Bay and drove to Exmouth, about 150 kilometres away.
