At the end of our trip to Africa, we wanted to make a helicopter tour over the Victoria Falls before heading back to Frankfurt via Johannesburg.

The country of Zimbabwe with its approximately 13 million inhabitants is a landlocked state in southern Africa and lies between Zambia, Mozambique, South Africa and Botswana. The Zambezi River, which has a total length of 2574 km, forms the northern border with Zambia. The highest elevation, 2,592 m, is the Inyangani, which lies in the eastern highlands in the Nyanga National Park. The largest cities in the country are the capital Harare as well as Bulawayo, Chitungwiza, Mutare, Epworth and Gweru. Zimbabwe covers an area of 390,757 km², which is roughly the size of Germany and Belgium.

After seeing the Victoria Falls from the Zambia side this morning and from the Zimbabwe side in the afternoon, we wanted to take a boat trip on the Zambesi River above the waterfalls.
