After our hike to the Ijen Crater in the morning we made our way to the south coast of Java. Here is a breeding station for sea turtles.

After the magnificent sunrise over Mount Bromo this morning, the ascent to the crater of Mount Bromo was still on.

Today we started the day in complete darkness – already at 3 o’clock at night our guide was waiting for us in front of the Bromo Permai Hotel with a jeep. Our destination was the viewpoint at Mount Penanjakan for the sunrise at Mount Bromo.

Today we were picked up on time at 11 o’clock by our guide Yudhi and our driver from our hotel in Surabaya. In front of us was a four-day tour through East Java to Bali.
