Dubai, with its 2.1 million inhabitants, is the largest city in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and the capital of the Emirate of Dubai. The most famous sights of the city on the Persian Gulf are the Burj Khalifa, the palm island “The Palm, Jumeirah”, the archipelago The World, the Heritage Village, the many traditional Suks, the Dubai Mall, Mall of the Emirates, the Dubai Creek and the luxury hotel Burj al Arab.
Dubai – Stopover with Emirates to Australia (United Arab Emirates)
At last it’s time for us to go on holiday again today! On our way to Australia and Indonesia we made a short stopover in Dubai. The city is not entirely new to us. 4 years ago we spent a few days here when we were on our way to the Maldives. But since something is changing quickly in Dubai and is being built everywhere, we have enjoyed a 20-hour stopover before we head on to Perth in Australia.
