After visiting the Palace of Knossos and the Archaeological Museum in Heraklion this morning, we strolled through the city centre and looked at the Venetian harbour and the koules fortress.

Crete Island – The Palace of Knossos & Archaeological Museum (Greece)
Our fourth stop on our celestyal cruise cruise in the Aegean Sea today was the island’s capital Heraklion (Iraqlio), which is located on the north coast of Crete. Today we had a great programme on our agenda: a beautiful mix of history, culture and sightseeing.
