The beaches of the Seychelles are certainly among the most beautiful beaches in the world, with the turquoise blue water, powdery sand and the fascinating granite rocks. What we particularly liked about the Seychelles is the fact that all the beaches here are public, i.e. even if the beaches are located on the grounds of hotels, you can enter them (partly with prior permission). On the island of Mahé there are numerous beaches, some of which we have visited.

When you hear the word Seychelles, you automatically think of white dream beaches, sun and palm trees as well as beach weddings and honeymoons. And this is indeed the case: the different islands are the epitome of a paradise The Seychelles are an archipelago in the Indian Ocean, which topographically belong to Africa and are distributed up to 1.600 km away from the African continent on a sea area of about 450.000 km². About 10% of it (455 km²) is taken up by the islands. The area consists of a total of 115 islands (42 granite islands and 73 coral islands), which are divided into two main groups: Inner Islands and Outer Islands.

Sometimes it is not so easy to find hidden spots in touristically high-frequency countries that you have for yourself. And yet this is possible 🙂 With the Rock Pool we discovered such a place and became aware of it by chance on the Internet when we googled for sights for Mahé.
