After we had inspecting Zion National Park yesterday, today was all about exploring the Bryce Canyon National Park.

Today we wanted to explore Zion National Park, which can be reached within 2.5 hours by car from Las Vegas.

It takes just over 4 hours to get from Los Angeles to the gambling metropolis and casinos of Las Vegas by car. On the route of Interstate 15, one drives through the Southern California desert, which is characterized by various rock formations, sand dunes and encrusted salt lakes.

After a short stopover in Chicago we were loaded around noon at the airport of Los Angeles. From here, our tour through the West and the national parks in the USA can be seen.

Around noon we landed today at Chicago O’Hare Airport. Chicago was a short stopover for our next day’s flight to the west coast of the USA. So we only had one afternoon to stroll around the city and visit the most famous Tourist Attractions before our trip continued to Los Angeles.
