Our current destination was the port city of Warrnamboo, which is about 650 km from Adelaide and is considered a starting point for travel along the Great Ocean Road. On our trip we passed the city of Hahndorf and saw some Kangaroos at Cape Bridgewater.

Today it was time to sleep again for a long time. Around noon we drove to downtown Adelaide to stroll around the city.

After our 3 great days at Ayers Rock in the middle of the continent, our journey went further south today. At 10.20am our plane with Qantas went via Alice Springs to Adelaide in the state of South Australia.

With the flight from Hawaii to Australia begins for us the 2nd half of our 6 month world trip. The Australian continent is the 4th continent of our trip to Europe, North America and South America and we are looking forward and now very much to the country “Down Under”, to New Zealand and to explore the dreamlike South Seas.

Today the alarm clock rang again early, as our flight from Maui to Big Island with Hawaiian Airlines started already at 8.30 a.m. Big Island is the 4th Hawaiian Isel on our world tourafter Oahu, Kauai and Maui.

Our main goal was the Road to Hana, one of the most beautiful coastal roads in the USA. Today we went to Oahu and Kauai on our 3rd Hawaiian island – to Maui. After breakfast in our Hotel Kauai Inn we went to Lihue Airport and gave up our rental car.

One of Hawaii’s most famous sights is certainly the Napali Coast, which is one of the most beautiful coastlines in the world. Already from home we had booked online a Deluxe Air and Sea Tour for Kauai, which we were already looking forward to.
