Glacier Bay National Park – A Scenic Cruise in Alaska (USA)

After the last days on our journey through the Inside Passage the cities of Ketchikan, Juneau, Skagway and Haines, the last 2 days of our Alaska cruise with Princess Cruises were a “Scenic Cruise”. This means that the ship no longer docks in a harbour, but that you can admire the highlights of Glacier Bay National Park and college fjord directly from the ship.

Everglades Alligator Farm – An Airboat Tour in South Florida (USA)

If you are in South Florida, an airboat tour through the Everglades National Park is not to be missed. We both knew the airboat tours along the Tamiami Trail between Miami and Naples. And together we did such a tour a few years ago in Orlando. Since this is always very funny and there is a lot of nature to see, we really wanted to repeat it again 🙂

Hawaii Volcanoes National Park – Things to do & Photo spots (USA)

Today we literally went to THE Hot Spot on Big Island: The Hawaii Volcanoes National Park, which was founded in 1916. The park has been declared an International Biosphere Reserve and has been a UNESCO World Heritage Sitesince 1987. The 1,348 km2 area of the park includes extensive lava fields from various episodes and is home to the active volcanoes Kilauea and Mauna Loa.
