After our great rafting tour this morning our tour continued after lunch to Monkey Forest and the rice terraces of Ubud.

The Monkey Forest in Ubud
Next stop was the Sacred Monkey Forest in the tourist town of Ubud. The small nature park is populated by over 300 javanese monkeys, which you can see and feed at close range.
We spent an hour in the park and especially the little baby monkeys were very popular. But the monkeys are not shy and are always looking for food… if necessary the monkeys climb on your shoulder 🙂
The rice terraces of Tegalalang
From Monkeys Forest we went to the 15 minutes away Tegalalang Rice Terraces. There are thousands of rice terraces in Bali, as well as Hindu temples. We took advantage of the last sunrays of the day to walk along the green terraces and take some pictures.
Around 18.30 o’clock after a long day we were again in the hotel and ate in a small Indonesian restaurant still delicious balinese curry.
