Since our onward flight to Hawaii did not start until early Sunday morning, we only had a whole day for Amsterdam to see the sights of the old town.

The Felsenmeer (Rocky Sea) & the Monastery Lorsch (Germany)
On our day tour through the Odenwald today, we first hiked the fairytale trail in the Obrunn Gorge in the morning and noon, looked at Fürstenau Castle, the Einhardsbasilica and the old town of Michelstadt and then walked a little through the alleys of the old town of Erbach. In the early afternoon we continued towards Lautertal to the rocky sea.

Sometimes you don’t have to travel far to discover something new 🙂 The occasion was a visit that awaited us at the weekend. Of course, one always wants to show its visitors something of the surroundings and since we live almost at the gates of the Odenwald, it was obvious to look at some attractions and sights of the Odenwald. Here you will find such beautiful cities as Michaelstadt or Erbach.

After a week of Danube cruise with A-ROSA Bella we have arrived safely in Passau. A shuttle bus of the A-ROSA had driven us and other guests from the Danube pier, which was about 45 minutes from Passau, to the main station Passau. Since our train only went back to Frankfurt in the afternoon, we still had enough time to take a closer look at Passau.

After our 2 days in Vienna, today we continued on the A-ROSA Bella on the Danube towards Budapest. Our next stop was Esztergom in Hungary, where our ship was laid out for almost 2.5 hours. The reason for the relatively short stay is that on the one hand the main attraction of Esztergom – the basilica – is only about 10 minutes away from the boat pier on foot and you can easily visit it in less than two hours. …
