Ayutthaya – The Elephants at the Royal Elephant Kraal Village (Thailand)

Categories: Travel reports, Asia, Thailand

After visiting the ruins of Ayutthaya we passed the elephant camp Elephantstay, where you have the opportunity to buy some bananas for a small contribution and feed the elephants on the premises.

Elephantstay

The location of the Royal Elephant Kraal Village

Elephantstay is part of Ayutthaya History Park and is located northeast of the ancient Siamese capital Ayutthaya in central Thailand.

The Elephants of Elephantstay

The Royal Elephant Kraal Village is home to nearly 80 elephants.

The Baby Elephants

The special thing about this day was that there was a little baby elephant who walked around the camp completely free and with whom we were able to deal and play all the time 🙂
