Categories: Travel reports, Asia, Thailand

Khao Phing Kan is an island in southern Thailand, known as James Bond Island and the Khao Ta-Pu rock pinnacle. Our detailed travel report on our stay in the south of Thailand with a visit to Phang Nga Bay (James Bond Rocks) and Monkey Caves is still to follow. But we have already uploaded some pictures of this trip.

The location of the James Bond Rock

Ao Phang-nga National Park

First we went by boat through the National Park Ao Phang-nga.

A canoe trip through a grotto

The first stop on our tour was a canoe trip through a grotto and then further along the rocks and mangrove forests.

The Stelzendorf Koh Panyee

Next we went to the village of Koh Panyee, built on stilts. Here we got our lunch and had time for a small tour in the village.
