From our Hotel Colony Club Inn & Suites we could easily reach downtown Nassau by public bus. The nearest bus stop was just a short walk from our hotel. Buses cost USD 1.50 each way and run at regular intervals.

Our world is so incredibly beautiful and versatile and we want to explore & experience as much of it together as possible. We are Sandra and Michael from Darmstadt – commuters between full-time jobs and 30 days of vacation per year. There is a lot of wanderlust in between. Bahamas & Florida – Our Travel Planning
After we had spent a very nice week in Mauritius in February, now our next holiday was coming up. We haven´t planed anything in advance – so we only booked our flights to Florida & the Bahamas only a week in advance 🙂

After we swam with dolphins on the west coast this morning, our tour went on to the east coast of Mauritius. From here we went as part of the tour “Roman’s Eastcoastdream” with the speedboat en the coast to the island of Ile aux Cerfs and at the end there was again the opportunity to snorkel in the Blue Bay.

In the areas around Mauritius you can observe dolphins in their natural habitat and even swim and snorkel with them. We have swum with dolphins in Egypt before and even dived with dolphins on Curacao in the Caribbean, which were unbelievably great experiences. That’s why we really wanted to do it again here in Mauritius 🙂
