Garden Route – Gondwana Game Reserve in Mossel Bay (South Africa)

For two nights we enjoyed a really great villa at the Gondwana Game Reserve in Mossel Bay. Gondwana Game Reserve is located in the western Cape Province, about 20 minutes from Mossel Bay. Already on the way to the accommodation we met some animals 🙂

Arriving at the main house, a reserve employee took us to our villa and we couldn’t get out of the amazement. The Bush Villa was simply incredibly large (285 m2), had 4 rooms, 3 bathrooms, a kitchen and several terraces with a breathtaking view. Often you have giraffes or zebras or other wild animals in the garden right at the villa 🙂

Breakfast and dinner were served in the restaurant. The breakfast was very tasty and varied. Especially the outdoor breakfast was great. In the evening, for safety reasons, a ranger picked up his villa in a jeep and returned after dinner. There was a 3-course menu; the main course could be chosen from various alternatives. In our package were included two game drives, where we saw a lot of animals. Just great!
