Today our island hopping continued in Fiji and we were taken around noon from our Hotel Coralview Resort on the island of Tavewa with a small tender boat to the pier of the Yasawa flyer in the lagoon.

The most attractive destinations for tourists are the small resort islands on the Mamanucas, the Yasawas or the beaches of the Coral Coast on the main island of Viti Levu. For our first 4 nights we chose the Coralview Island Resort on the island of Tavewa in the very north of the Yasawa Islands.

Today at 10am our plane with Virgin Australia went from Melbourne in Australia to Nadi on the island of Fiji – our first destination in the South Seas. This was the 32nd flight of our world tour and it lasted a good 5 hours.

With the flight from Hawaii to Australia begins for us the 2nd half of our 6 month world trip. The Australian continent is the 4th continent of our trip to Europe, North America and South America and we are looking forward and now very much to the country “Down Under”, to New Zealand and to explore the dreamlike South Seas.
