In the last few days we have already looked at the most important sights of San Francisco and have really got to know this great city at its best and in bright sunshine. What was missing at the end of our last day was a ride on the legendary Cable Car 🙂

The bridge was named after the 1.6 km wide, natural entrance to the Bay of San Francisco. At the time of the California gold rush, the bay entrance was named “Golden Gate” around 1846.

For our last holiday this year, we planned a round trip through California 🙂 Although we have been to California several times, there are still so many places we wanted to explore together. And so our 14-day trip starts on a rather rainy Sunday morning at the airport in Frankfurt. From here we went with WOW air with a short stopover in Reykjavik to San Francisco.
